Q. How do I get my event jobs completed on air events global?

It is super simple. Start by posting an event job. It is free to post and will only take a few minutes. See the five examples below:

Client example one

Hello, my name is Marshall and I am an Event Director based in Sydney. I have a large music festival coming up on Saturday 20th February and require 14 event crew to work from bump in through to bump out. 7am – 7pm, @ $25 per hour. The music festival is being held at Homebush and you will be required to provide your own transport to and from the venue. Each crew member must wear black pants and flat, black enclosed shoes and you will be given an event crew t-shirt upon arrival. The event crew will be working on many different elements of the events, from bumping in, registration, VIP and media liaison, back of house and green rooms, entertainment management, food and beverage and event bump out. Please accept this offer if you are available. Please note, no previous event experience is necessary.

Hello, I am looking for a very skilled and experienced Event Manager to work on a product launch for a new pressed juice line that we are launching. It is a four-week contract, five days a week from 10am-6pm at our office in Surry Hills. The contract pay is $5,000 for the four weeks and the Event Freelancer chosen will be working on an array of events tasks, such as creating and producing event briefs, the venue brief, sourcing potential sponsors/affiliates and brand ambassadors. Additionally, the Event Freelancer will be working closely with the Creative Director on theme, decorations and an overall bespoke look for the event. I am hosting a friend’s engagement at my home in the eastern suburbs of Sydney on Saturday evening and need two people who would be able to arrive at 3pm and help set up the event (set up the bar, set up the tables and chairs etc.), then serve drinks and canapés throughout the night and then pack down after the event. I am paying $25 an hour and it is from 3pm-midnight.

I am an Event Manager looking for a freelance Account Executive to join our busy Sydney office, starting ASAP and working for the next 8 weeks. Experience in promotions, staffing, events and experiential is required with a focus on being able to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple projects and budgets at once. The hourly pay is $30 and hours are 10am-6pm.

Q. What type of event jobs can I request on air events global?

There isn’t a restriction on the type of event jobs that you can list on air events global; it can be anything from hiring event and hospitality staff to work at a corporate, charity or social event to recruiting a full-time Creative Director for your event company.

Q. What is the cost to post an event job?

It is free to post an event job on air events global. Once you have accepted the agreed event job price and added funds to air events global secure pay, these funds will be held securely until the event job is complete. You will then release the event funds upon completion of the event job. There are no hidden fees; the fee structure is completely transparent (a 15% commission payment from the freelancer). There are NO COSTS at all to the client. Cash payments are not supported by air events global.

Q. Is insurance provided by air events global?

Event freelancers are covered by a $20 million insurance policy.*

Q. How do I know which person to book for my event job?

The air events global profiles are detailed with event experience listed, therefore there are a range of freelancers available, from non-experienced right through to extremely experienced event freelancers.

There is no obligation to book once an event brief has been posted, until you accept the event freelancer.

Q. How do I pay for the event work?

Once an offer has been accepted, the client is required to add funds to air events global secure pay. Cash payments are not supported or allowed on air events global.  The funds will then be released by the client after the event job is complete and both the client and freelancer are encouraged to leave feedback.

Q. How do I discuss the event job before choosing the air events global freelancer for my job?

We understand that you need further clarification about the event freelancers and vice versa, therefore you can converse via the dedicated event wall for each job. This allows the client and freelancer to comment and ask each other questions, ensuring that it is a suitable fit and mutually beneficial for both. No contact details are allowed to be exchanged through the air events global platform. Additionally, once the client has accepted the event freelancer and has been assigned and confirmed for the event job, both can communicate safely through private message to confirm further details.

Q. Who can earn money on air events global?

air events global are open to anyone looking for extra work as a freelancer.  Many of our jobs do not require prior event experience, so really it is open to everyone looking to make some extra cash. Q. How do I get paid for my air events global event work?

The client will transfer the funds into air events global secure pay as soon as the job is confirmed and you are confirmed as the event freelancer. Once the job has been completed, simply go into your profile and select “request payment” and the client will be notified to release funds into your account (however normally clients will have already released funds for you, negating you to have to do this). The main benefit of air events global secure pay is the streamlined payment, thus ensuring getting an event job completed will be a smooth experience for both the client and freelancer.

Q. How do I deactivate my air events global account?

To deactivate your account, please go to your account page and click on deactivate. If you have any event work outstanding, please finish this work or cancel before deactivating. For additional information please contact our customer support team at: customersupport@aireventsglobal.com

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure event freelancers who schedule time to work on an event are fairly compensated for the time they dedicate to client. We do understand that plans change and are here to help and support both clients and freelancers regarding any changes. If the cancellation is 24 hours before the event work, please just cancel automatically through the booked job, however if it is less than 24 hours, please communicate via the private messaging system to ensure that both the client and freelancer understand that the event work has been cancelled. Please note, each cancellation is reviewed manually by air events global.

Q. What happens if my freelancer does not show up to the event or is late?

For any reason that the freelancer is late or does not show up, please contact them directly via the private messaging system to ensure that they are on their way. Additionally, we have many freelancers looking for on-demand work, so please visit the website and go directly to the “on-demand” icon and post your work that is taking place in the next 24 hours. 

Q. Why am I assigned an "air events global" user id and why cannot I create my own?

Your air events global user ids have been carefully chosen by the air events global executive team for administrative purposes only. You are not able to create your own user id on the platform. This is for privacy and security reasons only.
